Hybrid Tubes

This system is powered by a pair of 200 watt behemoths that were hand built by Mike Elliot of Aria Audio.

The Aria amplifier is unique in that it uses tubes to present the sweetness of the mid range speakers and tweeters as SET systems do. At the same time, it utilizes solid-state technology to control the woofers of the full range speaker. Presently, we showcase these amplifiers with Von Schweikert Audio SR4 speakers which allow you to listen at "realistic" levels. In other words, they come really close to duplicating you the performance.

This system excels in a wide range of music; I feel it it is superlative on full orchestral works, big bands, funk, rock, and R&B.
